If this is not on your travel bucket list then you are really missing out, my friend. Though the wait is long, the temperature is freezing and every time you go to the bathroom it takes an hour to get back to your spot and people will fight for your spot. Now, that I have said all the bad parts about it... It will be the most memorable New Years Eve ever!
We went last year and it was a blast. We buddied up with everyone around us early in the afternoon and by the time that night came upon us, it was a huge block party. Singing and dancing going on everywhere... we couldn't feel the cold anymore. It was one of the greatest nights of my life.


I love Times Square, too. Remember it in the 60s when it was different but still full of character.
